As of V11 SP9 a specific Piping Classification is provided.
When exporting classified products respective data will be available in the CAD model (e.g. for technical design).
The intelligently enriched geometries have following data among others, which will accelerate system planning significantly.
Intelligent piping ports and anchor ports (NX), in order to directly insert the products. Furthermore existing pipe strings are directly resolved and the inserted products directly integrated. Part's behavior is exactly the same as with products created in the native library.
On part level, product data such as Isogen code, component shape, pressure, temperature, etc. Details on this can be found under Section 5.12.14.1.1, “Class "CNSPIPING"”.
On port level, product data such as pipe connection forms, flow direction of medium (inlet/outlet), mounting, etc. Details on this can be found under Section 5.12.14.1.2, “Class "CNSPIPECONNECTOR_ROUND"”.
