[Note]Note

In order to be able to use licenses from a license server, a respective service has to be installed on a computer (license server) in the network.

Also one or two other license servers could be installed as backup.

Make sure that you already have a license file where all needed servers are entered.

Detailed information on installing a license server can be found under License server installation - Requesting/importing licenses.

Start the license server license management by clicking the Start license server management [Start license server management...]... button in your installation (e.g. PARTsolutions Enterprise) in PARTadmin -> License management [License administration] category.

In this mode, you have access to all setting options. Detailed information on this can be found in this chapter.

[Note]Note

If no PSOL installation is available on the administration client, use PARTadmin from the license server installation (which is always installed).

Start PARTadmin via Windows start menu -> CADENAS License Server -> License Server. In this way PARTadmin is started in the correct mode.

Under Windows -> Services -> Cadenas License Server -> Context menu "Properties" you can see the installation path of the license server.

Under Windows -> Services -> Cadenas License Server -> Context menu "Properties" you can see the installation path of the license server.
