5.12.3.1.3. Class "CNSERPBASE" -> Feature "CNSCERTIFICATEROHS"
5.12.3.1.4. Classifying characteristic curves
5.12.3.1.5. Visualisation of diverse auxiliary geometry (spaces) generated from classification data
5.12.3.1.6. Notifications on changes in classes and attributes

The CADENAS Classification (CNS) is not directly visible in PARTdataManager, however multiple functions are controlled by assigned class attributes.

The Classification (CNS) is not only designed for parts, but also for part components like Connection points, for example.

Before assigning, in the list field under Filter, select the desired option.

Besides the option Classes, the option Connection points is used especially often.

Connection points (geometrical object) can also be classified in PARTproject, in the Preview. Working there is beneficial, because you have a direct relation to the part. For this also see Section 5.12.9, “Create Published elements (classify connection points) ”.

When selecting the option Classes in the Filter, the following selection appears.

[Note]Note

The classes CNSERPBASE (object properties), CNSGEOMBASE (geometrical properties) and CNSPHYPROP (physical properties) contain general attributes which should always be set ideally, if possible.

When selecting the option Connection points in the Filter, the following selection appears.

Information on how assignment of classes and attributes works in practice can be found under Section 5.12.5, “ Add projects to classification (context menu) ”.
