ERP data can be kept up-to-date using automatic or manual processes.

New ERP numbers can be created via PARTdataManager or PARTlinkManager.

With a complete ERP/PDM integration some possibilities described here may be omitted. For example, the creating of ERP numbers. This occurs only in the ERP system whereby the applied numbers are carried over into the link database in the sequence direct, cyclical or with online linkings. On this see Section 4.13, “Complex workflows for data maintenance ”.

In the following you will find some important points about "manual data administration".

A comprehensive description of the functions of the PARTlinkManager module can be found under Section 4.25, “ PARTlinkManager Reference ”.
