A prerequisite for using the dimension search [Dimension search] template is that the values required to identify the specific characteristic of a part are listed in a column containing the corresponding information. In the Standard catalog mostly the variable "NENN" contains the variables which are required for a clear identification of the characteristic (line). For a bolt these are diameter and length, which is mirrored in the line description (M20x30).

This example uses 19 specifications from DIN 912 to DIN 915 (see adjacent CSV file) and is intended to provide an overview of a complete standard procedure based on the dimension search [Dimension search] template. The decisive parameters can be found in the Standard, Dimension and Material columns.
