Check out directory

Theinitial situation is the newly downloaded catalog. The lock symbol indicates that no editing rights are available.

To obtain editing rights, select the directory and call up the Check out selection (for editing) [Check out selection (for work)] command in the context menu of the directory tree.

The green tick in the Result indicates that you now have the edit rights for the catalog .

Note

The editing rights for a specific project/directory can only be held by one user at a time! If a directory or individual files are locked, you will receive a detailed list of this. Each time you call up Check out project/directory (for editing), the Refresh [Update] dialog box appears and data is synchronized with the server, even if the editing rights are locked! Notification - File in progress In the Update dialog box, each locked file [File] is listed with the name of the user who has the editing rights.

In the picture below, project p23 is checked out alone.
