5.12.12.3.3. Create / edit
attributes

The creation of features is optional. (See checkbox Support for features [Attributes] when creating the class)
Features can only be created on the basis of an existing class.
Structure of the Features [Attributes] tab page
The Features [Attributes] tab page is divided into the following dialog areas:
After selection of a class you can create or delete assignments via arrow keys.
After selecting a class in the class tree, existing links are displayed in the dialog area Available in the class system. An alternative option for linking is described below.
To create a new feature, click on
To edit an existing feature, click on
-> The Add feature or Edit feature [Edit class variable] dialog box opens, which has the same functionality.
Fill out the following fields:
Link to class [Link with class]: Optional
In addition to linking classes with features using arrow keys (see above), the link can also be created by activating the Link to class [Link with class] checkbox.
If the option is activated, the Browse button is also active.
-> The Classification dialog box opens.
Select the desired class, double-click so that it appears in the Selected classes dialog area and confirm with .
-> The view switches back to the Add feature dialog box and the field in the Link dialog area contains the corresponding class.
The selected class is linked to the chosen attribute.
Also link to child classes [Also link with child classes]: If you activate the checkbox, the feature is also transferred to all subclasses of the selected class.
