5.9.17. Tabbed page: Media Variable

You manage media variables on the Media Variable [Media variable] tab page (up to V11 "Documents"). These can be created for various purposes(PARTtemplateDesigner[3D PDF data sheet function], print projects, wizards, product configurators, PARTcommunity [e.g. additional tooltip information]).
The following figure shows an overview of the two dialog areas Templates and Variables.
The Templates dialog area is required in particular when working with the PARTtemplateDesigner. See Chapter 8, PARTtemplateDesigner - Create data sheets .
All existing media variables (keys) are listed in the Variables dialog area.
In and below the level of selection, Media Variables are displayed in black color.
