Cut component

Cross section [Cross-section]
Cutting plane [Cut plane]:
Select YZ plane, XZ plane or XY plane in the list field
'+ ' or '- ' (mirror-inverted representation of the section)
Shifting [Displacement] the cutting plane:
Enter the desired displacement in the input field. (The numerical value refers to the unit of measurement of the component)

Quarter cut
To create a quarter section, activate both the checkbox for cross section [Cross-section] and the checkbox for quarter section [Quarter cut].
The same applies to the settings as for cross-section.
