Depending on the setting, results are loaded in PARTdataManager or seamless are loaded. You can recognize the selection by the corresponding button on the right in the LIVEsearch dialog.

The advantage of working with the component comparison [Part comparison] is that you can immediately see the current best comparison part for all changes to the model. You can also see the topological values in the part comparison [Part comparison].^[25]

The part shown in blue is the search part (part currently focused in CAD), the part shown in red is the best comparison part.

Note As soon as a part is loaded into the part comparison [Part comparison], a dialog box with import options opens. Import options for format ...... As a rule, you only set the settings once. Then activate the option Do not show the dialog for this format again [Do not show the dialog for this format anymore]. However, if you would like to call up the suppressed dialog again, activate it in the PARTdataManager under Extras -> Settings [Preferences...]... -> Search menu -> General tab, activate the option Show suppressed option dialogs again when opening a 3D file [Show suppressed option dialogs again].
