PARTadmin -> Category "AppServer Service"

AppServer Service -> Port configuration -> HTTPS port [HTTPS-Port]

SSL
When using SSL a certificate signed by the certifcate authority is required.
See Section 4.22.3.4, “SSL encryption ”.
Enter ports and enable
Enter port numbers to be used and enable the checkboxes.
Later when executing the Client installation, this port number has to be stated in the AppServer URL.
Release pappserver.exe in Firewall
Make sure that desired accesses to the AppServer are not blocked by a Firewall.

PARTadmin -> Category "AppServer client [AppServer client] "

Make sure that the AppServer client settings are correct on the server:

Catalog browsing, search and database with AppServer
Server address entered
Use SSL activated

AppServer client -> AppServer connection

If under AppServer client the option Use local AppServer is set, the CadConnector will access the wrong URL which could possibly result in a connection error.
