Each catalog has to be classified by category and distribution country. Furthermore there is also the possibility to classify according to functionality. The classifications By Categories and By Countries are only useful at catalog level (and require the creation of a `categories.prj`), By Functionality is classified at project level.

By Countries shows the manufacturer's sales locations (e.g. PARTcommunity Maps / RFQ feature, in 3Dfindit under "About the manufacturer"). The aim is to offer the user effective product procurement in the vicinity of their own location.

By Functionality provides filters such as "Cutting", "Screwing", "Welding", "Pulling", etc.
