8.4.6.1. Embed Documents

In order to call embedded documents in the PDF there are two possibilities:

Via click on a pin icon (see Section 8.4.12, “ Embed ”)
Via link in the characteristic attribute table (description in the following)

Prerequisite: The required files should be located in the catalog (in the simplest case in the corresponding project directory). The paths must be specified relative to the path of the project file.^[118]

Create in PARTdesigner the table with the corresponding variables.
Create the corresponding variables in PARTproject under Variables with executable program [Variables containing external references] or Document to open.
Activate the Embed documents [Embed Documents] checkbox in PartTemplateDesigner under Elements -> Table.

Take care that there is no line break in the link, otherwise it won't work.
