8.2. Open existing catalog template

In order to open an already existing template, you have different options:

Selection via File menu [File] -> New -> New/Open dialog box -> Open existing catalog template -> List field selection -> Open:

(A project must be selected under Project selection )

Note

This method assumes that all three template files have already been created (<name>.template, <name>.ptdefand <name>.pmt).

Under Open existing catalog template, select the desired template in the list box.

	Note
	If in the existing template there are old PDF files in addition^[a], these are displayed for information purposes only and are not selectable.

	Note
	You can close the New/Open dialog box by pressing the ESC key.

Selection via File menu [File] -> Open:
1. Click on Open to open the Explorer in the "_templates" directory. All files of the type .template are available for selection.
2. In the Explorer, select the desired template file.
-> PARTtemplateDesigner opens with the desired template.
