You can configure with which selection under Search in PARTdataManager or a new search tab opens .

Search in

all catalogs
all classifications
all native catalogs
Special search path

PARTadmin -> category Configuration files -> $CADENAS_SETUP -> partsol.cfg-> block [PARTdataManager] -> key TABCONTENT_SEARCHRESULT_DEFAULT_REQUEST_PATH

Selection options (value range) in the list field:

cat: All catalogs
cls: All classifications
nat: All native catalogs
Freely defined path is also possible. Therefor click into the input field and enter the desired path.
Example: cat/norm/ansi

Default search path or recently used one?

A further setting allows to specify whether the set default search path or the recently used one shall be used.

PARTadmin -> category Configuration files -> $CADENAS_SETUP -> partsol.cfg-> block [PARTdataManager] -> key TABCONTENT_SEARCHRESULT_DEFAULT_REQUEST_PATH_STARTUP

Selection options (value range) in the list field:

last: The recently used search path is used again.
default: The search path specified in the key TABCONTENT_SEARCHRESULT_DEFAULT_REQUEST_PATHis used.
