There is only one central data directory ($CADENAS_DATA)

All accesses (catalog browsing and search and (by default LinkDB access)) - no matter from which location - run via the PARTapplicationServer.

So if you want to use 3Dfindit remotely without synchronizing the catalog data, you need an extra license for this.

Note You can protect yourself against a license failure by setting up a server network. Connected servers You can find details on this under Section 1.5.4.1, “ Connected servers " dialog area ”.

Note The license (and thus a possible license server) must be available when PARTapplicationServer is started, as it configures its functionality at startup. It is not possible or intended to "pull" licenses.

This license is required, if you want to access the PARTapplicationServer with third party systems.
