2D derivation

In the PARTdataManager simple standard views [Default views] such as front, back, top, etc. and standard combination [Combination views] views are automatically provided in the 2D derivation docking window. These are saved within the 3db file and are no longer visible in PARTproject are no longer visible.
In PARTproject in the 2D derivation dialog area, additional 2D derivations can be managed.
For this there are different methods:
The standard 2D derivations can be modified afterwards. In the PARTdataManager 2D derivation docking window, these are then available to you in the View column under their own name.
Details on this can be found Section 5.10.2, “ 2D deriv ation: Extend standard views ”.
In Sketcher, for example, you can also save sections as a 2db file and then select them in the 2D model column.
A special case for providing an additional 2D derivation is "Shortened views". You can find details on this under Section 5.10, “Adjust 2D derivations ”ations.
