ID

The ID is assigned automatically.

Type

When creating a new dimensioning at first a selection dialog box for the type definition appears. The type is displayed here.

If it makes sense you may change the type via list field subsequently.

Note The selection fields are only updated after clicking on Save changes are updated.

Views

Activate the checkbox for the desired 2D views on which the dimensioning is to be displayed.

Views that contain a dimensioning can be recognized in the 3D toolbar by a corresponding icon with a dimensioning line .

Connection point

The annotation points to the specified connection point with an arrow.

Position

The position of the annotation is given in absolute coordinates in relation to the zero point. Reference point is the bottom left position of the annotation.

The ABSOLUTE option with Absolute X / Absolute Y must be used.

Allowed values are numbers or a PARTdesigner expression.
