8.3. Automated update information

PARTsolutions Professional and eCATALOGsolutions customers will be informed about new Releases.^[73]

This happens automatically via software.

The update check is done on startup of PARTdataManager, PARTproject and PARTdesigner.
If an update is available a message is shown: Es ist eine neuere Version zum Download verfügbar. [There is a newer version available for download.]
It opens a link to the page with more infos afterwards.
Currently https://www.cadenas.de/support/de/downloads-updates is used.

If this is not wanted, you can centrally disable the check under $CADENAS_SITESETUP/updatecheck.cfg:
