Configuration (basics)

The configuration of the PDMLink specific settings can be performed under $CADEANS_SETUP/ifproepdmlink.cfg.

URL to Windchill Server: Block [WINDCHILL] -> Key "WindchillUrl". (Has to be identical with the URL set in above dialog.)

Checkin Folder on server: Block [CreationOptions(is3d)] -> Key "PDMLINK_TargetFolder".

With this option, the server where the checkins shall be performed is set. Set the entire path inclusive folders. The path has to be stated as follows:

wtpub://<Server Name>/<Products, Libraries, Projects,...>/<Context Name>/<Folder>

Wichtig

The setting is language-dependent!

For a German client, in the path, e.g. not "Libraries" has to be entered, but "Bibliotheken"!

Example:

PDMLINK_TargetFolder=wtpub://192.168.1.216/Libraries/Lib1/SubFolderLib1

	Wichtig
	If a folder is stated, it must exist. The same applies for the library.
